Grant Hall Design Studio Conception and Identity
The historic Archie C. Grant Hall is one of the oldest buildings at UNLV. The mid-century structure, which currently includes many classrooms for art and design students, has been painted, renovated, and bombarded with art installations over the years. One of the most peculiar and longstanding additions is the giant ear on the stairwell. This symbol of creativity and bold design was a perfect source of inspiration for our team and therefore it's likeness was translated into the logo mark for our studio.
Here are some sketches from the early development phase.
And Here is the final logo mark and monogram we designed for Grant Hall.
